One can’t think of Maggiano’s Little Italy without thinking of delicious comfort food, camaraderie and good times. Banquet and delivery sales manager for Maggiano's - Cherry Hill, NJ, Victoria Hutchinson, explains how the restaurant incorporates all of the features for which the property is known into their banquet events.

“Our company can best be described by our culture," notes Hutchinson. "Our pas- sion is to make every guest feel special, while bringing people together to cele- brate the love of family and friends. Whether celebrating a corporate occasion or gathering the family together for an informal dinner, Maggiano’s strives tomake every guest feel comfortable enough to laugh out loud, reminisce and be indulged. We offer family-style dining as well as a la carte dining in our main dining rooms, family-style banquets for up to 200 guests in most locations, and off-premise catering service for our surrounding communities.”

Hutchinson also notes that networking is still an important aspect of holiday parties and Maggiano’s is happy to oblige. “In the last few years, interactive parties have become more popular for the holidays, and I see that trend continuing for this sea- son. Parties startwith great food and drink, but now more than ever I see clients look- ing for activities during their events, as well. Painting parties, mystery events, game shows, 'create-a-gingerbread house,' chef demos, and wine tasting are some of the activities our clients have hosted.”

She adds that Maggiano's can help facili- tate some of these activities for clients.

Another trendHutchinson has seen for hol- iday parties involves the spirit of giving rather than receiving, which can be a great team activity. “I’ve seen a trend going away from the ‘white elephant’ and ‘Pollyannas’ (giving gifts to each other) and moving toward donating to a cause like Toys for Tots, the Center for Family Services, or to an organization for foster kids, such as Together We Rise. It’s really been great to see.”
