U Shelter Me, Put To Music.
The fourth episode of the PBS series, “Shelter Me” premiered this past October. Hosted by actress, Alison Janey (shown right) the series highlights ani- mal shelters and pet adoption, with most of the stories origi- nating from the country’s West Coast. Na s h v i l l e - b a s e d songwriter Mindy Smith was commis- sioned to write the original theme song for the series. She ended up producing an entire companion album of music, aptly titled, Songs For Shelter Me. The overriding theme of both the series and the CD is that change comes from inspiration, not desperation. Be sure to follow
