Center Parcs Woburn Forest Gets Luxury Hot Tubs

Topline Electronics is pleased to announce the signing of the contract to supply the latest Center Parcs Village with its hot tubs. The £330,000 contract provides the new Center Parcs Village at Woburn Forest in Bedfordshire with luxury hot tubs for its Exclusive Lodges. The tubs are a special Holiday Village configuration of the 4SeasonSpa Sophia model. Each hot tub has its own filtration and chemical dosing system, using Topline’s best-selling pool controller, the TEC2000, the unit which has already been retro-fitted to all the hot tubs within the groups existing Villages. 4SeasonsSpa was selected by both Center Parcs and Topline based on the existing 4SeasonsSpa configuration of its whirlpools specially designed for holiday park applications operating successfully in many parks across Europe. Furthermore the decision by Center Parcs and Topline for 4SeasonsSpa is based on the flexibility and proximity as a European manufacturer. The experience of both Topline and 4SeasonsSpa in the holiday park market has resulted in development of the custom made configuration necessary for high intensity customer usage. Center Parcs Woburn Forest is one of the largest leisure developments in the UK and the £250m Village is due for completion in spring 2014. In a separate deal, Topline have

also been awarded the contract for the preventative maintenance across all four existing Villages for the hot tubs, the saunas and the steam rooms. Topline’s Managing Director Andrew Hunt was pleased to announce both contracts stating: “Our partnership for the hot tubs and for the preventative maintenance is another major milestone for Topline. Center Parcs have recognised the strengths that Topline have for product reliability, customer sales and aftersales support, built over the last 20 years working with the largest names in market, and they have put their trust in us for the new Woburn Forest Village and to keep the existing Village portfolio operating to their high expectations.”

UK And International Awards For Sundance Spas

If you are a regular reader of US newspapers, you will already know that two hot tubs from Sundance Spas have scooped major prizes in the Awards for Design Excellence (ADEX) 2013. Closer to home, another Sundance Spas’ product has just been awarded ‘Best Buy’ status by WhatSpa – the UK hot tub buyer’s guide. Recognised globally as the architecture and design industry’s most prestigious accolades for product and project design, ADEX honours went to the Peyton 6-person spa with its 35 hydrotherapy jets (Gold Award) and, topping even that achievement, the 66-jet Aspen 8-person spa (Platinum Award). Meanwhile, WhatSpa’s Best Buy award highlighted the 47-jet, 7-person Optima, which the company says is the world’s best- selling spa.

The news has delighted Golden Coast, which was recently selected by Sundance Spas as its exclusive UK distributor for its range of premier spa and hot tub products. “We knew we were onto a winner when we teamed up with Sundance Spas, and the awards just keep rolling in,” says Jamie Adams, Golden Coast’s Managing Director. “The

beautiful design of every model is clear to see, and beneath it lies a tremendous reputation for quality and innovative technology.”

Among the company’s key innovations is its patented Fluidix jet technology, which allows users to select a range of settings according to their moods and needs. This can mean anything from a steady flow to an oscillating, swirling, pulsing, streaming or penetrating massage. “Sundance Spas is a premium brand for customers who realise the importance of investing in their health and relaxation, so whether the aim is deep relaxation or powerful reinvigoration, Fluidix jets will provide the right therapy,” adds Jamie. “What’s more,

they don’t use bearings, so there is no clogging or wearing.”

Another technological advance is

CLEARRAY UV-C, which keeps the water clean and fresh without using chemicals that would sting users’ eyes and dry out their skin. This is standard on all new Sundance spas and can be retrofitted to older models or other makes. Golden Coast, the UK’s largest independent distributor of wet leisure products to the trade, is currently expanding its Sundance Spas dealer network by selecting companies with the necessary attributes to represent this premium range.

“Internationally, Sundance Spas is the largest manufacturer and distributor of acrylic spas and is well known as a premier brand,” says Jamie Adams. “Our challenge is to alert Britain to the qualities that customers in Sundance’s Californian homeland have enjoyed for so long.”
