Itinerary & Sightseeing


Day 1 Havana Join the tour today in Havana › Day 2 Havana (B) City tour with free time in the afternoon and cocktail making in the evening. › Day 3-4 Trinidad (B) Drive through sugar plantations, visiting the ‘Bay of Pigs’ museum, to the Spanish colonial town of Trinidad with an orientation tour of the city. Salsa dancing lessons in the evening. The following day is free to discover Trinidad in more detail. Optional catamaran trip › Day 5 Topes de Collantes (B, L, D) We journey to the Escambray Mountains for a morning walk to Hacienda Gallega. We walk to the El Rocio waterfall in the afternoon. › Day 6 Topes de Collantes (B, L, D) Morning walk via La Batata cave to Hacienda Codina with a short trip on a nature trail via El Altar cave and Mirador in the afternoon. › Day 7 Camaguey (B) Drive throughout the day to Camaguey via Trinidad, the Valley of the Sugar Mills and with stops at Manaca Iznaga and Mirador. › Day 8 Bartolome Maso (B) Morning free in Camaguey before we continue east to Bartolome Maso via Bayamo in the Sierra Maestra Mountains. › Day 9 Santiago de Cuba (B,L) Travel by Jeep to Alta de Naranja for a morning walk through virgin rainforest before driving onto Santiago. › Day 10 Santiago de Cuba (B) Morning excursion including Plaza de la Revolucion, Moncada Barracks and the town centre. Afternoon free. › Day 11 Santa Clara (B) Today we drive towards Santa Clara, the home of Ché’s Mausoleum. › Day 12 Vinales (B) Drive to Parque and walk to Tren Blindado before arriving at Vinales. › Day 13 Havana (B,L) We travel to the coast to catch the ferry for Cayo Levisa arriving back in the capital that evening. › Day 14 Havana (B) Depart any time.
