Bliss out on world-class beaches in exotic southern Thailand before cooling off in the Cameron Highlands of Malaysia. This two week tour will introduce you to three diverse nations—and three of the region’s most vibrant cities. Sample street food or hit Bangkok’s clubs with other travellers your own age—so you can be sure to get down with those that’ll keep up. With your hotel and transport arranged by our Group Leader, you can concentrate on choosing your own adventure: pack your trip with everything you want and nothing you don’t.
Itinerary & Sightseeing
Day 1 Bangkok Arrive at any time. › Day 2 Bangkok (1B) Option to visit Wat Po, the Grand Palace and National Museum. Overnight train. › Day 3-4 Koh Phangan A short boat ride takes us to the small island of Koh Phangan where we have the next few days to explore the island’s waterfalls, swim in its lagoons or just relax. › Day 5 Koh Samui Arrive in the afternoon in time for a sunset cocktail with some time for exploration of this island which is well known for its magnificent beaches and party nightlife. › Day 6 Nakhon Si Thammarat Ferry ride back to the mainland, then transfer to one of Thailand’s most ancient cities. › Day 7 Penang (1B) Cross the border into Malaysia. Optional city tour or visit to Kek Lok Si Temple, Little India or Chinatown. › Day 8-9 Cameron Highlands Optional tour of the highlands, go hiking or walk around town. Be sure to have an afternoon tea here; the area is rich with tea plantations. › Day 10-11 Kuala Lumpur Options include taking a city tour, visiting the famous Petronas Towers or the Islamic Arts Museum. › Day 12 Melaka Visit the town’s highlights then opt to tour its canals. › Day 13 Singapore Border crossing from Malaysia into Singapore. Free time to visit Night Safari, the Raffles Hotel, Chinatown or Little India. › Day 14 Singapore (1B) Depart at any time.
