This trip offers a fully immersive, unyieldingly African experience in a compact eight day package. Soak up the wildlife and vibrant colours and scenery of Zambia, Botswana and South Africa, with game walks and plenty of options for game drives. Camp under the stars of the Okavango Delta, track rhinos in the Khama Sanctuary and marvel at the immense Victoria Falls. Your nimble 16-seat minibus will get you to the sites safely and camping will allow you to fall asleep to the sounds of the wild underneath big African skies. You’ll end your adventure in Livingstone, where you can ease into the relaxed vibe.
Itinerary & Sightseeing
Day 1 Johannesburg Arrive at any time. › Day 2-3 Serowe/Maun (2B,2L,2D) Embark on an optional open vehicle game drive in Khama Rhino Sanctuary or a scenic flight from Maun over the delta. › Day 4 Okavango Delta (1B,1L,1D) Enjoy game walks, traditional mokoro (dug-out canoe) excursions and bird watching. View wildlife up close. › Day 5-6 Gweta/Chobe River (2B,2L,2D) Camp under ancient baobab trees, watch the elephants drink from the camp’s watering hole. Hop on a optional boat cruise on the Chobe River in Chobe National Park. › Day 7 Livingstone (1B,1L) Ferry crossing into Zambia, visit Victoria Falls. Choose among optional activities such as white-water rafting, canoeing, elephant-back safari, or flying over the falls. › Day 8 Livingstone (1B) Depart at any time.
