Discovering Iceland’s glaciers, mountains and geysers, taking a dip in the warm waters of the Blue Lagoon and in the summer searching for whales – Iceland is a natural Phenomenon. In the winter, get the chance to watch the mesmerising Northern Lights and explore the country further with an optional super jeep or snowmobile ride across Iceland’s stunning landscape.


Itinerary & Sightseeing


Day 1 Reykjavik Arrive in Reykjavik and check in to your accommodation. This evening we will meet our local guide who will take us into town to get some food, have a few drinks and get to know your fellow travellers. › Day 2 Golden Circle (B) Today we take a tour of Iceland’s ‘Golden Circle’, to some of the country’s incredible natural wonders, including Thingvellir, Geysir and Gullfoss. The country lies in a rift valley, about 5km wide, with Lake Thingvallavatn bordering on the south side and a mountain range to the north. Today enables you to experience a range of the country’s dramatic scenery including Strokkur, meaning ‘The Butter Churn’, which erupts every 3-5 minutes up to 30 meters high. Gullfoss – the Golden Waterfall, cascades into a deep gorge with tremendous force its spray forming colourful rainbows. › Day 3 Reykjavik (B) Free day - jump aboard an amazing super jeep and drive into the wild Thorsmork Valley crossing glacial moraine, fluvial outwash deposits and lava flows. Alternatively join a snowmobiling tour like no other. In the summer (May –August), there is the chance to go whale watching or go on a puffin tour to see these colourful birds close up. › Day 4 Blue Lagoon (B). Today we will take a trip to the Blue Lagoon to relax and enjoy the tantalising waters, a perfect end to your weekend away. We will return to Reykjavik driving via the airport for anyone taking a flight this afternoon.

What’s included: A chance to see the Northern Lights (winter only), tour of Iceland’s natural wonders; Thingvellir, Geysir and Gullfoss, a dip in the Blue Lagoon, time in Reykjavik. Airport transfer on Day 4.
