Itinerary & Sightseeing


Day 1 Delhi Arrive in Delhi › Day 2 Agra Morning train to Agra. Options to visit Taj Mahal and Red Fort › Day 3-4 Jaipur Orientation walk in Jaipur. Optional visit to and Amber Fort. › Day 5 Tordi Sagar Dive into rural life taking a camel cart ride to the dunes for sunset or make bangles and try henna paint with the local women. › Day 6-7 Pushkar Orientation walk including a climb to Savitri Temple to catch the sunrise. Have a meal with a local family, enjoy dinner on the dunes or explore the town. › Day 8-10 Udaipur Orientation walk and optional visit to the Lake Palace. › Day 11- 12 Ahmedabad/Mumbai (Bombay) Visit Mahatama Gandhi’s ashram in Ahmedabad before continuing on to Mumbai, with an orientation walk by your Group Leader. › Day 13-14 Goa Head to the beach, explore Old Goa, sample tasty treats at the night markets and hit up the nightlife of this coastal city. › Day 15 Kochi (Cochin) Fly to southern India and explore this major port city. › Day 16 Alleppey (1L,1D) Orientation walk of Fort Kochi, the Dutch Palace, and the Jewish synagogue and town before continuing to Alleppey. Explore Alleppey with an orientation walk. Experience local life at a homestay, and enjoy a guided walk along the lagoon. › Day 17 Kollam (1B,1L) Enjoy an orientation walk of Kollam and full day boat cruise on the backwaters, observing its unique ecosystem. › Day 18-19 Varkala Lots of free time to explore the town, get an Ayurvedic massage, be treated by local healers or visit the Varkala Temple. › Day 20 Kochi Check out the Jewish quarter and the spice market or take in a Kathakali (local martial art) show. › Day 21 Kochi Depart at any time.

What’s included: Orientation walks in Jaipur, Pushkar, Udaipur, Mumbai and Kochi, sunrise at Savitri Temple in Pushkar, guided Kerala boat tour and homestay, backwater excursion from Kollam.
