Itinerary & Sightseeing


Day 1 Buenos Aires Arrive at any time. › Day 2-3 Salta Check out the scenic Quebrada de las Conchas to Cafayate. › Day 4-5 San Pedro de Atacama Opt to visit nearby ruins or visit the Valley of the Moon. › Day 6-8 Salt Flats/ Uyuni (2B,3L,2D) Ascend by bus into the mountains into Bolivia to experience a three day 4x4 excursion to the Uyuni salt flats and surrounding desert. › Day 9-13 Potosí/Sucre Take optional excursion to nearby dinosaur tracks, explore the cities, head off to hike or mountain bike, check out a working silver mine. Overnight bus on Day 13. › Day 14-15 La Paz Optional visit to Valley of the Moon. › Day 16-18 Puno/Lake Titacaca (1B,1L,1D) Visit the floating Islands of Uros and take a guided tour of Lake Titicaca with a homestay in a small village. › Day 19-27 Cusco/Ollantaytambo/Inca Trail (3B,3L,3D) Free time to explore Cusco. Take in Inca culture, history, and great views on a four day guided Inca Trail hike with visit to Machu Picchu. Travel by overnight bus to Arequipa on day 27. › Day 28-31 Arequipa/Colca Canyon Optional visit of the Catalina Convent. Spot condors on a guided tour to Colca Canyon. Overnight bus to Nazca on Day 31. › Day 32-33 Nazca/ Paracas (1D) Optional sandboarding and flight over the Nazca Lines. Stop at a winery en route at the Oasis of Huacachina. › Day 34 Lima Optional visit to Ballestas Islands before travelling to Lima for a final night. › Day 35 Lima Depart at any time.
