Travelling mostly on public transport, you will see the very best that Fes, Rabat, Essaouira and Marrakech have to offer. From the snake charmers, acrobats, musicians and storytellers of Marrakech to the nightlife of the new town in Fes - you’ll feel exhilarated by Morocco.


Itinerary & Sightseeing


Day 1 Marrakech (D) Join the rest of the group in Marrakech with an included dinner on the first evening. › Day 2-3 Fes (B D) Travel by bus crossing through the Atlas Mountains via Beni Mellal with stops in Khenifra and Ifrane in the middle Atlas arriving at Fes. Included orientation tour takes in the mosques and souks of the Fes el Bali (Old Fes). › Day 4 Rabat (B) Train to the city of Rabat with an afternoon guided tour of the city including Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. › Day 5 to 6 Marrakech (B D) A morning train to Marrakech today with a free afternoon once we arrive. Day 6 includes a guided tour of the city to explore something of the rich heritage of Morocco’s fascinating ‘Red City’ including the Djemma-el-Fna square, the Koutoubia Minaret, souqs, Bahia Palace and Saadiens Tombs. › Day 7 and 8 Essaouira (B) We head west to the shores of this coastal retreat and the historic port of Essaouira with an afternoon orientation walk when we arrive. This is followed by a free day to relax and explore Essaouira. Why not take a stroll around the old town, perhaps taking in the Mellah (the old Jewish Quarter) or maybe wander along the fine sandy beach. › Day 9 Marrakech (B D) Drive to Marrakech with the afternoon at leisure to finish off any last minute shopping and site seeing. You can wander past vendors selling doughnuts and slippers, meander through local markets and enjoy the sounds and the smells of the exotic. › Day 10 Marrakech (B) The tour ends today in Marrakech.
