Feel the splash of the Okavango Delta from a dug-out mokoro canoe and in the mists of the majestic Victoria Falls—described by the local Kololo people as ‘the smoke that thunders’. Experience the colours, culture and scenery of Namibia, Botswana and Zambia on this well-packed nine day adventure. Meet the San Bushmen of the Kalahari Desert and the elephants of Chobe National Park. With a knowledgeable Group Leader leading the way, travel aboard our overland truck is well-paced and wilderness camping will keep you in the thick of the action. Itinerary & Sightseeing
Day 1 Windhoek Arrive at any time. › Day 2 Kalahari (Ghanzi) (1B,1L,1D) Visit the Kalahari Desert and meet the local San Bushmen. Optional walk to learn survival skills from the locals. › Day 3 Maun (1B,1L,1D) Preparation for our one night, two day bushcamping in the delta. › Day 4 Okavango Delta (1B,1L,1D) Enjoy game walks, traditional mokoro (dug-out canoe) excursions and bird watching. › Day 5 Gweta (1B,1L,1D) Camp under ancient baobab trees. › Day 6 Chobe River (1B,1L,1D) Option to embark on a boat cruise on the Chobe River or on an open safari vehicle game drive inside Chobe National Park. › Day 7-8 Livingstone (2B,1L) Optional morning game drive in Chobe National Park. Cross the Zambezi River by ferry into Zambia. Option to visit Victoria Falls, enjoy whitewater rafting or canoeing, take an elephant- back safari, fly over the falls and much more! › Day 9 Livingstone (1B) Depart at any time.

Accommodation: Simple hotel (1 nt), participation camping (6 nts), basic bush camping (1 nt). Transport: Overland vehicle, mokoro, walking. Group size: Max 22, Avg 18. Group leader: Group Leader/ cook and driver throughout, local guides.
Meals included: 8 breakfasts, 6 lunches, 5 dinners. B = breakfast, L = lunch and D = dinner. Meal budget: Allow USD50-75 for meals not included.
