ibford students did themselves proud in their 2012 exams. Celebrations started in July with the publication of the BTEC Level 3 Countryside Management results which saw Ben Loveridge gain Distinction* (the equivalent of an A* at A Level), Nancy Tucker and Daisy Everett both achieving Distinctions and Zoe Trafford gaining a Merit. August saw the release of

the A Level results ... with nearly a quarter of Sibford students gaining a prestigious A* grade. There was particular success


for the Maths department with all students who sat A Level Mathematics acheiving a pass … and 44.4% doing so at A* grade. In a further boost, the


department was also celebrating success in Further Mathematics, which was included in the Sibford curriculum for the first time this year. All students who sat the exam received an A grade. Sibford’s head of Maths, Debra Collins said: “I am delighted with these results. To have over 40% of the class achieve A* grades at
