London Wasps in a bid to see the level of rugby played at the school go from strength to strength. The club is committed to helping develop rugby in schools throughout Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire and in March we were delighted to welcome David Choules, the club’s Independent Schools Programme Officer, as guest referee at our annual rugby sevens tournament. Both Joe and Sam enjoyed international success playing for the England Under 20s team at the final of the 2011 Junior World Cup and were able to share some of their experiences with the boys. ibford has entered into an exciting partnership with
things that we hadn’t done in school before such as attacking lines. They also did life-style coaching which gave us an insight into what we need to eat and how much we need to exercise to keep at peak fitness.” Following on from the pre- season camp we look forward to welcoming back representatives from London Wasps to join us over the Autumn Term for weekly
evening coaching sessions. Richard Ferley, head of PE, said: “Pupils have been selected to join these coaching sessions based on the interest they have shown in the sport in the past or the potential that staff have seen in their game. We hope that as many pupils as possible will be able to benefit from training with professional coaches and look forward to seeing the results out on the field.”
