Baby safely delivered (that bit was easy!) Two days of childcare lay ahead. Surely it can’t be that difficult?
Was about to go into town but baby started crying. I think it needs to burp so I’ve been told to pat its back and eventually we get a burp.
He’s crying AGAIN and that’s a big, bad thing. I hate the sound of crying, it really stresses you out.
Oops, glad it’s not a real baby. I took him out with me and I think I might not have supported his head properly
as he suddenly started screaming and screaming. Neighbours were looking out of their windows, it was very embarrassing.
I hadn’t realised how much you have to take your baby around with you. I can’t go anywhere. I even have to be quick on the toilet!

Baby went back this morning and it was a bit sad really. It was a really good thing to do and I think it made me realise how much effort it is to have a baby. I think things like this would definitely help prevent teenage pregnancies.
He always seems to want to be fed when I’m eating so it’s quite hard. He wanted feeding last night when I was trying to eat my dinner, so I had to hold him, try and hold the bottle and eat with one hand.

The baby was very tiring to look after but at the same time it was quite cute. You felt like it relied on you and that you were comforting it and helping it ... I like that. I do want to have a baby someday but definitely not yet for a while.
