Slipstream is an extraordinarily ambitious sculpture that combines precision engineering with the sense of velocity and movement of a stunt aeroplane. Te sculpture will fill the length of Heathrow Terminal 2’s Covered Court.

Baku Sfera Wood and acrylic Anna Liu
Te Baku Sfera is a 25m-diameter glass astronomical device that tells the time with light. Perched on the edge of a hill and mirrored in a pool, the Sfera is entered from below, through the pool and up one of three spiraling staircases. Recessed coffers provide 12 inward- looking seats and 12 outward-looking apertures for views of the city and the Caspian Sea.

Te brass and Swiss pear structural frame model for Cannon Place is free of facade or detail, depicting the mass structure required for the large commercial office development over Cannon Street mainline and underground stations in the City of London.

Basketball Arena – Section, Scale 1:150

Tis cross-sectional model illustrates the basketball arena for the 2012 Olympic Games, which are to be held in London. Te model indicates the demountable lightweight steel structure and fabric cladding. Te arena has been designed to be simple to erect and sustainable in legacy.

Tis sectional slice of the structure shows the cladding and seating for a rugby-club stand. Te repetitive canopy module, designed with Buro Happold, is fabricated as a ‘gridshell’, clad in lightweight fabric.
1143 Electricity Pylon Competition 3D white composite powder Make Architects
RIBA Competitions invited designers to propose a pylon for future generations, while balancing the needs of communities and preserving the beauty of the countryside. Taking inspiration from the catenary curves formed by the hanging cables, Make created a series of structures that offer an alternative to conventional pylon design. Te pylons weave unobtrusively though the landscape instead of ‘marching’ across it.
