Te bulbous model proposed a house for an embalmer and radio ham. Elevated from the ground, the house is formed of nine equally sized spheres. Te 3D printed model demonstrates the new technologies available to assist the architectural profession in presenting concepts and ideas.

Te denizens of this Dream Isle comprise puffed-up swans borne on sedans and an anarchic monarchy circled by members of parliament, while a skein of magpies unfurls the British Museum daily, revealing their horde of sequestered treasure.

Comprising a boat store, outhouse, washhouse, living space and writing room along a continuous external circulation space, this is coiled to fit on a small city site. Internal and external spaces share a continuous language.

Tis house provides a refuge for George Orwell, after he spent five years in the Imperial Burmese Police. Inside fittings such as the bath, kitchen and fireplace are cast in place; outside, tobacco beds, beehives and birdhouses are incorporated to provide interest and respite for a man with a heavy conscience.

Set at the heart of a new campus in London, the proposed academic building is a 48-metre cube with three atria, each a 24-metre cube. Te atria reveal and link teaching, laboratory, research and incubator spaces for start-up companies.
