Re-cycle your Christmas Trees Kilmacolm
Through the week, starting Monday 9th January Inverclyde Council will be providing an enclosure on Broomknowe Road, behind the Birkmyre Pavilion, where you can deposit your Christmas Tree at the end of the festivities. The trees will be collected up from there, chipped and disposed of in an environmentally friendly way. Now the brown bin collections have ceased for the winter, it is particularly useful to have this convenient way for disposing of your unwanted Christmas Tree. The Kilmacolm Community Council has been discussing the issue with Inverclyde Council and is pleased to welcome this initiative. It is up to us all to take advantage of it so that it is continued in future.
