Staff would like to wish you all a Happy New Year. Thanks to everyone for your continued support of the Park throughout 2011. Here’s to 2012!
Get Out and Get Active!
It’s that time of year where some of us make resolutions and join the gym... There’s no need at Clyde Muirshiel, our outdoor activity courses, seasonal bike & boat hire as well as exciting programme of ranger events, can help you on your way to becoming healthier and happier. With free entry and parking, it has never been easier to enjoy exercise in the outdoors.
Tinsel Walk a Roaring Success
A grand total of 51 adults (plus a few tots in buggies) took part in the 7th annual Tinsel Walk at Castle Semple Centre, Lochwinnoch. The walkers came from various feeling fitter groups throughout Renfrewshire and nearby North Ayrshire. They spent
an hour touring Lochwinnoch, wearing assorted hats and bits of tinsel, treating the villagers to a variety of festive songs. The party then returned to the centre for mince pies and coffee. You can see a selection of songs being sung by the group on our Youtube page, www.
youtube.com/clydemuirshiel.
Winter Scenery
Have you been out and about with your camera in the Park this winter? We would love to see your photographs! The snow and frost can make for some interesting shots and can often make the wildlife of the park a little more easy to see. Our Park Facebook page is a great place to see some of the ranger’s images and a place to post and share yours!
