Best Western Premier Central Hotel and Conference Center just opened this year in Harrisburg with 174 guest rooms, three suites, a fitness center, indoor heated swimming pool, plus on site dining and a lounge. The hotel offers 15,000-square feet of meeting space and shuttle service to Harrisburg International Airport. Previously a Four Points by Sheraton, the hotel is just the sixth Best Western Premier property in North America.


Radisson Hotel Harrisburg Hershey has undergone a major renovation this year while continuing to offer significant rates and deals for meeting and event plan- ners. The property features a 30,000- square foot conference center with flexi- ble meeting space. Its Grand Ballroom is central Pennsylvania's largest column- free oval ballroom, and hotel services


such as catering and audio-visual rentals are available here, as well.


The newly opened Country Inn and Suites Hershey at The Park debuted in late 2010 in Hershey near the Antique Auto Museum and is conveniently locat- ed near Hershey attractions and the Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course in Grantville.


Events Etc. by the Hershey Pantry in Hershey offers full-service catering for corporate and social events, and can accommodate up to 90 people on site. Services include decoration coordination and installation, in-house floral supply and design and entertainment.


The PA Farm Show Complex and Expo Center is continuing renovation projects that were started in 2010, including the creation of two new conference centers; meeting room improvements like new


sound systems, free wireless Internet and new lighting systems. The installation of a retractable wall in the 1,000-seat ban- quet hall provides the venue with the abil- ity to create two dining or meeting areas that adjoin to a VIP room. The facility’s three arenas and Heritage Halls also received new sound and lighting, plus refurbished seating in the large arena. The expo hall has added two new projec- tors and large screens.


Restroom and locker room improve- ments have already been completed at the complex as part of a strategic plan to attract more youth athletic business to the facility. In 2010, that plan was initiat- ed with the addition of a versatile sport flooring system that can accommodate up to 20 basketball or volleyball courts.
