‘Coaching is about facilitating the learning required to improve performance but will also invariably be about change, whether that be in perspective or behaviour’

Meet the coach

‘I have gained a lot of personal insight and learnt a lot about coaching techniques from completing NELA coaching training.

I can now reflect at a deeper level how to improve and change my way of handling issues that I previously struggled with.

I have used some of the tools and techniques of coaching but need to continue develop my coaching style and skills, so that they become more intuitive.

I need to continue to develop as a coach and move along the coaching continuum.

I also plan to use my coaching skills on an informal basis. My aim is to make informal coaching my natural style of communication rather than offering advice based on my own circumstances, which is my instinctive style.’
