NELA NETWORKS CLN bursaries
As part of the clinical side of the network the academy awarded bursaries to help fund several clinical innovation projects from around the region. These include:
The development of a North East Clinical Health Informatics Forum led by Dr Jonathan Richardson, Consultant Psychiatrist, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust.
Improving the support and care in pharmacies for patients with respiratory long term conditions led by Patricia King, Clinical Champion, NHS Durham and Darlington.
A review and evaluation of methodologies of consultant selection led by Dr Namita Kumar, Consultant Physician and Rheumatologist, County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust and Head of Foundation School, Northern Deanery.
