ANNUAL REPORT 2010-2011 Finance
The academy is funded from a number of sources, from our regional partnership organisations’ contributions to national funding from the National Leadership Council (NLC) work streams. The academy’s funding streams for 2010/11 were as follows:
• Aspirant Leaders Programme (Regional workforce development fund)
• Emerging Leaders Programme (National Leadership Council Emerging Leaders work stream funding)
• Clinical Fellowship (National Leadership Council Clinical Leadership work stream and regional workforce development fund)
• Organising for Quality and Value (NHS Institute of Improvement and Innovation funding)
• Clinical Leaders Network (National Clinical Leaders Network Funding)
• NELA master classes (Regional funding)
• NELA Summits (Regional funding)
• Coach Training (National Leadership Council Emerging Leaders work stream funding)
• Facilitation Training (National Clinical Leaders Network Funding)

The academy aims to be fair and equitable in the allocation of development opportunities to partnership organisations and acknowledges that in 2010/11 this has varied by organisation as illustrated by the chart below.
Going forward we aim to engage with those less represented organisations to ensure that their allocation is increased.
