Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Nursing and Patient Safety
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
After working at a senior level in several NHS organisations including Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, the NHS Modernisation Agency and the South West Strategic Health Authority, Tricia joined South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in April 2005.
Originally appointed as Director of Nursing, Tricia has since added patient safety, infection prevention and control, governance and assurance and most recently the role of Deputy Chief Executive to her portfolio.
In November 2009 Tricia won the NHS Award for Inspirational Leadership at the inaugural NHS Leaderships Awards. The aim of the awards is to recognise outstanding leadership in the NHS across England and to encourage and inspire future leaders.
Tricia was also the expert nurse panel member into the care provided by Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust and is now working alongside Robert Francis on the second stage Public Inquiry.

Chair, Long Term Conditions Clinical Innovation Team NHS North East
Chair of the Long Term Conditions Clinical Innovations Team for NHS North East, Simon leads a programme to drive transformational change and quality improvements in services to improve outcomes for people with long term conditions.
Simon co-chairs the national long term conditions clinical leads network and is a member of the Department of Health Long Term Conditions Delivery Board.
Simon is also a member of the local implementation team of the NHS
North of Tyne Year of Care pilot and has contributed to the development and delivery of the national Year of Care care planning training programme and Train the Trainers programme.
"I have gained hugely from my association with NELA. I have been fortunate to contribute to the shaping of the Fellowship
programmes and was delighted to be invited to participate in one of their events, sharing and discussing my role as long term conditions clinical lead. The quality of the debate and discussions were inspiring.
