ANNUAL REPORT 2010-2011 Emerging Leaders Programme

Part of the National Leadership Council Emerging Leaders work stream, the Emerging Leaders Programme is a tailored development programme aimed at Agenda for Change band 7 to band 8b individuals who have the potential to progress.

Emerging Leaders bursaries

As part of the programme, Emerging Leaders bursaries were offered to cohort one participants to support the delivery of an identified innovations project within their organisation.

‘Since starting the programme I feel a sense of increased confidence and have acquired valuable new tools and techniques to assist in negotiation and persuasion… and I feel equipped to have those ‘difficult conversations’. I also have an increased understanding and awareness of different leadership approaches for heading up large scale transformational change.

Through the two day residential centre I was able to identify where my strengths are and areas where I can work to improve my personal performance and I have developed a sustainable personal development plan.’
