Fitness Koren Walsh


Koren Walsh is a vibrant woman with a contagious love of life. She found the power of the hula hoop after a devastating car accident that left her with an extensive recovery. Her love for teaching hoop dance and empowering students–especially women–has taken her around the country. Koren is an award winning hoop and fire dancer and has performed in many venues including the Minnesota Renaissance Festival.


Hoop Dancing- Beginner Level 1


Hooping engages core muscles, increases aerobic capacity, and enhances flexibility and healthy body alignment through the graceful rocking motion used throughout the dance. The effective physical exercise of hooping makes it the perfect modality to empower people to feel good in mind and body. Hoops of different weights and sizes will be provided and made available for purchase. No prior hula hoop experience is necessary.

Hoop Dancing- Beginner Level 2 Building on what you learned in Level 1 and expand into more advancd hoop moves. Advanced and Combination moves will be taught with emphasis on performance. Hooping promotes flexibility and healthy body alignment. Hoops of different weights and sizes will be provided and available for purchase. Past participation in Level 1 is required.

Fitness Boot Camp


Get motivated! Join Fitness Boot Camp to achieve your fitness goals. All shapes, sizes and abilities are welcome. Cardiovascular and strength work will be incorporated in a variety of workouts. Participants will receive before and after fitness assessments for measurable results. Dress comfortably and bring a yoga or exercise mat. No class July 4 & 6

Hot Shoes Muscle Dance


Hot Shoes has been inspiring students to dance their way to fitness since its debut in Excelsior, MN in 1979. Hot Shoes goal is to help you feel better emotionally and physically. Our one hour workout combines the art of dance with the science of exercise, the fun of rhythmic routines and fantastic motivating music with mind/body activity. Along with our cardio- endurance segment we use a variety of exercise equipment for toning and strengthening. Let Hot Shoes help you maintain a healthy, happy and quality lifestyle. Good Ole Fashioned Step Aerobics Sign up for good “ole” fashioned step aerobics. This course will introduce basic steps, proper execution and simple choreography for all levels. Raise your heart rate, reduce your blood pressure, burn some calories and have some fun! Your instructor Lonna Mosow has been active in the fitness movement since she opened the first workout studio in the Twin Cities in July 1974.
