Stages Theatre Company Grades K-2


Students work with a professional teaching artist from Stages Theatre Company to build age-appropriate acting, dancing and singing skills. Families are invited to a portion of the final class for a sharing of skills learned. Each student will receive a complimentary ticket for a Stages Theatre production.

High School Musical Jr.


Every day students will practice acting, dancing and singing in theater rehearsals as we prepare to present Disney’s High School Musical Jr. Rehearsals will take place Mon-Thurs., and families and friends are invited to enjoy the show on July 8 at 1 and 6:30 p.m. Roles will be assigned on the first day of class, and all campers will perform in our show. Drop off and pick up will always be at the West Entrance of MHS. For more information visit our website or call Trent Boyum at 952-401-5748. No class July 1 & 4.

Prairie Fire Theater Grades 3-8


Prairie Fire is back! Professional actors and directors will work with up to 80 young actors for each production. The troupe will rehearse for one week and perform the play on Fri. and Sat. evenings. Participants experience the excitement of producing an original musical production based on a clas- sic tale. Sets, costumes, props and make-up are provided.

Actor’s Studio Grades 6-8


Explore and expand your speaking, acting and auditioning skills. In this camp taught by professional actors and directors, you will perform scenes, explore the emotions of a character and see how movement, voice and the use of props enhance character development. You will rehearse a one-act play and perform for family and friends at the end of the camp. No experience required.

Explore the wild, weird and wacky worlds of Dr. Seuss in this high-energy class for crazy characters. Using rhyme and rhythm, you will bring to life fun and freaky folks like Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, Yertle the Turtle and more!

Creative Play Grades 3-5


Create a play, build the sets and the costumes, construct the props, play with make-up and masks and perform in front of family and friends – all while enjoying the wonderful outdoors! In this two-week camp, instructed by professional actors and directors, you will get to do it all and truly explore your creative side.
