Minnetonka Community Education provides affordable computer classes for people of all ages. Take advantage of our classes to help you develop your personal computer skills or to learn new skills for your career. Manuals (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint) may be purchased on the day of your class. Cost: $14/manual. Students receive a Certificate of Attendance after completing their class.

Access 2007
Microsoft Access 2007 is a powerful relational database. This class covers the initial design, creation and entry of data; the design and creation of queries to extract data; and the generation of professional-looking reports to present the data from your database. Prerequisite: Windows 7 or equivalent experience.

Adobe Photoshop: Part 2
Work more extensively with photo repair and touchup, colorizing black and white photos and collages. Bring your own images on disk for the collage portion of the class. Digital Camera Photos: Download, Upload, Sort & Email
Are you great at taking pictures but stumped at how to get them off the camera? Are the pictures that you managed to transfer to the computer a while back now lost somewhere in your hard drive? Would you like to be able to upload your photos to an online processing service for printing? Finally, would you like to e-mail some of those photos to relatives and friends? This class will answer all those questions. Bring your camera and the USB cord. Prerequisite: Windows

eBay & Craigslist 101: Buying & Selling Online
Learn the elements of effective selling: how to assess demand for an item, establish an eBay identity, price an item, add a photo to a well-written description, get higher bids, collect payment, the shipping process - and avoiding beginner’s mistakes. As an option for large or heavy items too difficult to ship, students will also learn about posting items to Craigslist. By the end of the evening, students will have the opportunity to either bid on or post an item on eBay or Craigslist (if you want to sell on eBay, be sure to bring your item or a digital picture of your item to class along with a credit card number, or checking/routing number. Prerequisite: Internet experience.
