Puppy Dog Tails and Cuddly Cats Ages 31/2

Learn to draw pictures of our favorite pets, sculpt cats and dogs out of clay, paint pictures of animals and even make accessories such as leashes, ID tags, treats and food bowls. We’ll use oil pastels, chalk pastels, tempera paint, watercolor, and even collage. Between art projects we’ll play games, read pet books and go outside for recess. Please bring a beverage, nut-free snack and a photo of your favorite pet or animal. Instructors: Abrakadoodle

Dinos & Dragons Art Camp Ages 31/2

Stegosaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex, and Triceratops are the inspiration for this dino-mite camp! We’ll learn about land, water and flying dinosaurs while exploring what they ate and how they survived. Along the way we’ll paint ceramic dinosaurs and make dinosaur sun catchers. We’ll also explore fire breathing dragons as we create a moveable dragon and collage a dragon. Wiggle, Giggle and Paint Art Camp Ages 31/2

Make fun masks out of plaster, paint a beautiful sailboat on canvas, collage owls while reading the beloved book Owl Babies, sculpt bowls, make butterflies inspired by Eric Carle and more. We’ll throw paint like Jackson Pollock, read stories, learn about color mixing and play games outside. You’ll leave camp with eight art projects. Superhero for a Day Ages 31/2

Calling all superheroes to this outrageously fun superhero camp! We’ll draw buildings and then, using the magic of digital photography, paste a photo of ourselves in as Superman flying between the buildings. We’ll even make superhero shields and masks! Unless noted, register for classes and activities based on your child’s age or grade in the 2011-12 school year.


Young Rembrandts, young artists and animals all go together in this fun class where children learn the basics of drawing at an early age. Our classes include basic visual skills along with fine motor skills, attention to detail, sequential thought, focus and all the components needed to be ready for academic learning. While learning we will enjoy the fun of drawing our favorite animals such as a horse, turtle, dog and more.
