Minnetonka Preschool & ECFE Registration Registration Information


You may join a class at any time if there are openings available. ECFE Fees


Contact the office immediately, 952-401-6812, if you cannot attend a class for which you have registered. A $20 non- refundable fee is charged for any changes or cancellations. Requests for refunds must be received five business days before the first day of class for a full refund (minus the $20 change fee). After that date, prorated refunds will be given only if your spot in class fills.


Minnetonka Preschool Tuition


Minnetonka Preschool tuition is paid on a monthly basis from September-May and pro-rated based on our 30 week school year. A non-refundable deposit of $55 and first month’s tuition (also non-refundable) is due at the time of registration. Income based tuition assistance may be available through School Readiness funding. Sibling Care for ECFE or Preschool Plus Classes During most classes, child care is available for siblings. Check the sliding fee scale for rates.

Registration Confirmation


Provide us with an e-mail address and your registration will be confirmed online. Otherwise, we will notify you only if your 1st choice is full or if the class you requested is cancelled. If you don’t hear from us, you are registered.


Cancelled Classes


Classes may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment up to one week before classes begin. Refunds will be issued.


Preschool Tuition Assistance


Tuition assistance is available through our scholarship fund and through School Readiness. Call 952-401-6812 for information on how to obtain an application. Applications for the 2011-12 school year must be received by June 30, 2011.

HUG - Helping Us Grow Free home visits for District families


Minnetonka Schools and HUG offer free home visits to all families in the District from birth to one year old. The visit includes a gift from Early Childhood Family Education, a HUG book of fun play ideas for you and your baby, and information on resources and support. Minnetonka Preschool & ECFE Advisory Council The Advisory Council is a group of parents dedicated to supporting Early Childhood Family Education through fund-raisers, special events, lobbying before the legislature, and offering program feedback.
