FRANÇAIS C-Mine est un espace unique, situé à Genk, en Belgique, et fut tout d’abord une mine de charbon avant d’abriter différents établissements dont deux théâtres, une galerie d’art, des restaurants et des bars en plus de nombreux lieux d’importance telles qu’une salle de contrôle sur deux niveaux, souvent louée pour des tournages de films, des mariages ou des performances artistiques. Pour les espaces destinés au théâtre, une ligne d’éclairage ADB a été choisie, comme l’explique le directeur technique Winand Van Lil : « Notre seul critère est la qualité. Nous n’avons pas eu à réfléchir longtemps aux éclairages ou aux matériels que nous souhaitions utiliser. Nous connaissions les produits, nous connaissions les personnes, nous savions que ce que nous voulions et tout s’est parfaitement assemblé. » L’architecte choisi pour le projet fut la firme 51n4e, une entreprise jeune mais bénéficiant déjà d’une excellente réputation, avec comme chef de projet Peter Swinnen, élu meilleur architecte Flammand cette année. En collaboration avec le consultant en théâtre Marc Lambert de TTAS, également réputé dans son domaine, il a choisi un sound system d&b audiotechnik pour les espaces de performance.

Two d&b audiotechnik B2 subwoofers and eight d&b audiotechnik Q-SUB subwoofers have also been installed, alongside nine built-in E0 loudspeakers, which are used as fixed front-fills. d&b audiotechnik D12 amplifiers and an Avid VENUE desk, similarly to the smaller theatre power and control this system. Both venues are also equipped with a mobile set of eight d&b audiotechnik M6 monitors and D6 amplifiers. Geerts described the challenges the Amptec team faced along the way: “The installation of the front-fills in the large venue was planned in predetermined holes in the beginning. When installing them, this appeared to be a problem. So, Amptec then made E0 loudspeakers to size.” Amptec’s aim was always to have a generally accepted and powerful front system for theatre concerts. At the same time it wanted the necessary loudspeakers to cater for more modern sound designs in theatre performances and modern dance. Despite the difficulties Amptec was very pleased to be part of such a project, and summing up the experience Geerts said: “The installation was exceptionally smooth, special thanks for the planning and the calm approach of the technical team in Genk, which allowed Amptec plenty of space to install such a system.”

DEUTSCH C-Mine ist ein einzigartiger Bereich in Genk, Belgien, ein ehemaliges Kohlenbergwerk, in dem nun unterschiedliche Einrichtungen untergebracht sind, unter anderem zwei moderne Theater, eine Kunstgalerie, Restaurants und Bars, sowie zahlreiche andere spannende Bereiche wie der alte zweistöckige Kontrollraum, der jetzt oftmals als Drehort, für Hochzeiten oder als Performance Bereich vermietet wird. Für die Theaterbereiche wurde eine ADB Beleuchtungsausrüstung bestimmt, wie der technische Leiter Winand Van Lil erklärte: „Für uns zählt nur die Qualität. Wir haben nicht lange über die Beleuchtung oder die Dimmer nachgedacht. Wir kannten die Produkte, wir kannten die Leute, wir wussten, was wir wollten und alles passte zusammen.” Der Architekt des Projektes war 51n4e, ein junges Unternehmen, das aber über einen hervorragenden Ruf verfügt, dessen Hauptarchitekt Peter Swinnen in diesem Jahr zum wichtigsten flämischen Architekten gewählt worden ist. Der Theaterberater Marc Lambert von TTAS hat mit den Architekten zusammengearbeitet, der ebenfalls in seinem Bereich sehr angesehen ist, er entschied sich für ein d&b Audiotechnik Soundsystem für den Performance Bereich.


ITALIANO Il C-Mine è uno spazio unico che si trova a Genk, in Belgio; è unico perché è stato usato in origine come miniera di carbone. Nonostante ciò, ospita adesso un numero di diverse aziende e comprende due teatri moderni, una galleria d’arte, ristoranti e bar, assieme a molti spazi per spettacoli quali la vecchia stanza di alto comando su due piani, ora spesso noleggiata come ubicazione per film, matrimoni o spettacoli. Per gli spazi teatrali è stata individuata un’attrezzatura di illuminazione della ADB, come spiega il Direttore Tecnico Winand Van Lil: “Siamo solo interessati alla qualità. Non abbiamo dovuto riflettere molto su quali luminari o quali regolatori di luminosità avremmo preferito usare. Conoscevamo i prodotti, conoscevamo la gente, sapevamo cosa volevamo e tutto è proseguito da solo”. L’architetto del progetto è stata 51n4e, una compagnia giovane, ma che ha una buona reputazione, con il principale architetto Peter Swinnen eletto come il miglior architetto fiammingo di questo anno. Il Consulente Teatrale Marc Lambert della TTAS ha lavorato con gli architetti; anche lui è molto considerato nel suo campo, ed ha optato per un sistema audiotecnico della D&B per gli spazi adibiti a spettacolo.


ESPAÑOL C-Mine es un espacio único, ubicado en Genk, Bélgica. Originalmente fue una mina de carbón; sin embargo, hoy en día sirve de albergue a diferentes establecimientos, los que incluye dos teatros modernos, una galería de arte, restaurantes y bares. Dentro de estos establecimientos, también existen espacios espectaculares, tales como un antiguo espacio de dos pisos que funciona como cuarto de control; el cual muchas veces, se alquila para locaciones de película, bodas y áreas para presentaciones. Como lo explica el Director Técnico Winand Van Lil: “Buscamos calidad; no tuvimos que pensar mucho cuales luminarias o reductores de luz preferiríamos utilizar; conocíamos el producto, la gente, conocíamos lo que queríamos y todo se adaptó a nuestros requerimientos”; consecuentemente, especificó un módulo de iluminación ADB para utilizar en áreas teatrales. Una joven compañía, 51n4e, se encargó de la arquitectura del proyecto, la cual mantiene buena reputación con el arquitecto Peter Swinnen, quien fue elegido el arquitecto Flamés más importante del año. Conjuntamente con los arquitectos, trabajó el Consultor Teatral Marc Lambert de TTAS; quien es muy respetado en este campo y quien a su vez optó por el sistema de sonido audiotechnik de d&b para los espacios de concierto.
