BRADLEY CENTER
Company: Lighthouse Location: Milwaukee, USA
Featuring the first customised radius corners in the NBA, and a standard-setting design by Anthony James Partners, Lighthouse and TS Sports continue their domi- nance over the competition for the most prestigious projects in American sports. The Bradley Center, home of the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks, will soon set the standard for LED centre-hung integrated displays. Featuring over 1,000 sq feet of 6mm pitch LED video distributed across four main screens, over 91m of 10mm entertainment strips and scoring matrix, and a unique underside display, the Bradley Center’s one-of-a-kind centre-hung display will blaze with over 232 sq metres and nearly two million pixels of LED video, lighting up the venue like nothing seen before in the NBA, with the possible exception of the American Airlines Center, Lighthouse’s spectacular installation for the Dallas Mavericks. Two 16mm outdoor displays prepare Bucks’ fans for their new centre-hung display. “We are very excited about partnering with the Bradley Center for their LED renova- tions,” said Matt Ritter, TS Sports VP of Sales. “The new centre-hung will consist of customised radius corners making it one of the most dynamic LED systems in professional sports.” For the Bradley Center, the versatility of the new Lighthouse LED video board is potentially the most lucrative feature, enabling the venue to customise sponsorship and statistical information to the teams the Bradley Center hosts, including the Mil- waukee Bucks, Milwaukee Admirals, Marquette University and the Milwaukee Iron. “You will see an image that will be eye-popping,” said Steve Costello, President of the Bradley Center. “It’s going to feel like you’re three metres away from your big- screen television at home. Virtually everything is a display.” The centre-hung display’s overall design and customised radius corners again place Lighthouse at the very top of the LED industry, in both innovation and execution. “Lighthouse takes pride in advancing what is possible in modern sports and enter- tainment venues,” added Ed Whitaker, Lighthouse Jumbovision NASA Director of Sales. “The Bradley Center is the most recent example of our continuing dedication to the American sports experience, and our commitment to developing and main- taining a long-term presence in the Americas.”
