PEAVEY | IPR SERIES
www.peavey.com
The IPR Series from Peavey is a range of highly engineered, ultra-lightweight and efficient power amplifiers whose advanced design dra- matically reduces weight while increasing output power, reliability and thermal efficiency. IPR Series amplifiers are designed with a resonant switch-mode power supply and a high-speed class D topology that yields the highest audio resolution and efficiency available. Peavey IPR Series amplifiers feature two channels with independent, 100Hz crossovers and a variable-speed fan housed in a lightweight aluminum chassis. Peavey’s exclusive DDT speaker protection with multi-point clip sampling leads a protection-circuitry suite that also includes DC, Temp, Signal and Active safeguards, all referenced on the front panel with LED indicators. In addition to the standard IPR 1600, IPR 3000, IPR 4500 and IPR 6000 models, Peavey has announced four models that feature built-in 32-bit, floating-point digital signal processing. The IPR DSP models ship with program-specific EQ presets that make common sound-reinforcement EQ treatments easy to perform, as well as delays, crossover and stereo/mono operation with lockable security settings. A front-panel LCD screen allows users to quickly identify and assign presets.
PKN CONTROLS | PKN XE6000
www.pknc.com
These amplifiers are not just great for touring but they also make a ideal installation amplifier, with minimal space needed, great natural response and very high power ratings, and power efficient design. The units can also be remotely monitored cutting down on site visits. The PKN XE6000 delivers 2 x 3600W @ four ohms, has a built-in variable limiter, and comes in a small, lightweight package. Other specifica- tions include: remote control via standard LAN and web browser or our free software so no need for special amplifier controllers; high frequency PSU with PFC meaning the amplifier doesn’t run out of power on those crucial bass notes; control lock - to prevent people tampering with your settings making ideal for dry hires; and users are able to view the history of what the amplifier has been doing including power, and temperatures either remotely or on the built in screen.
POWERSOFT | K SERIES
www.powersoft.it
Powersoft’s legendary K Series amplifiers are touring with leading sound providers and their megastar clients. Based on the same unique advanced technologies applied in K Series, now the new M Series is available, tailored for small to medium-sized sound systems, monitor rigs, mobile DJs, as well as installations in clubs and a wide range of entertainment venues. Comprising of five 2-channel and 4-channel models with up to 5,000W out of 1RU and into four ohms, M Series offers an exceptional value: small in size and weight, hugely efficient and reliable, and fine sound quality at a remarkably attractive price, while manufactured entirely in Italy. Optional DSP boards add crossover and sound shaping functionality, but are kept away from unwanted tampering: a ‘plug & safe’ concept assuring that locally only preset changes are allowed, if any, and everything else to be managed through the Armonía Pro Audio Suite software. Even though blue outside, Powersoft M Series is greener than the facade is showing: with outstanding efficiency and low power consumption, the amplifiers are good for the environment – and on the wallet due to less money being spent for power distribution as well as on the monthly power bill.
PROEL | HPD3400PFC
www.proelgroup.com
The Proel HPD3400PFC features an amplification section based on an improved version of Pulse Width Modulation technology. The inno- vative topology of the amplification circuit and the very high sampling rate ensure very high performance in the whole audio range, whereas new-generation semi-conductors and the innovative signal reconstruction filter guarantee excellent audio quality. The new power supply section provides full output power with any mains voltage (150V to 264V : 230V model, 85V to 132V : 120V model - 50 / 60Hz) and include the PFC (Power Factor Correction), able to guarantee that the AC input current wave form is sinusoidal and in phase with the mains voltage wave form. Thanks to the high efficiency of the power section and to the new power supply section we’ve been able to keep the weight of these amplifiers low to facilitate transportation and set up. The protection system includes thermal protection, short circuit protection, high frequency protection and a Clip Limiter circuit. Several user configurations can be selected in the input section (Stereo / Bridge / Parallel) as well as several filtering options (Flat/Bi-Amp/HPF).
