EXPO DIARY GUIDE AMPLIFIERS PRODUCT DIRECTORY
A new year and the start of a new tradeshow calendar, which looks set to be busier than ever, due to a combination of new shows surfacing and a collection of bi-annual shows running in 2011. You can plan your schedule for the first six months of the year with our Expo Diary on page 120. However, looking back to the latter part of last year, the events calendar was wrapped up with two shows in the French market. Firstly JTSE, a predominately theatrical show which, seems to have gathered significant pace since the 2009 edition. Secondly to Monaco, for the MICS exhibition which is very much aimed at the clubbing market. Michael Nicholson went to Monaco to see what this first ever edition had to offer. Rachael Rogerson also visited Mumbai in October, to attend the Broadcast India show. It was a show that was a little different for mondo*dr, interesting and educational all the same.
The focus of the Product Guide this issue is always a popular subject, the proof of which you’ll see with the Amplifier Guide spreading over eight pages. We also have our usual round up of new products, some of which I’m sure will be on show at ISE - Amsterdam at the beginning of next month. For this issue’s Last Page interview, we turn to Italian lighting manufacturer, Clay Paky. As the company will be celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, mondo*dr caught up with UK Sales Manager, Ashley Lewis.
