AMERICAN AUDIO | VX SERIES www.americanaudio.eu

The VX Series, is the latest generation of amplifiers by American Audio. They are a professional performance amplifier series with a high protection grade, developed and designed for small installations, DJ and bands. The multifunctional display allows a full overview on func- tions and settings, it’s easy to navigate and fairly self explanatory. Special attention has been given to every aspect of the VX amplifiers for the highest reliability. With outstanding sound performance, built-in sound dynamic processing circuitry, and a superior clip limiter, the VX Series offers users a wide variety of possibilities. With a solid case design with 3mm steel, and back ears so the amplifiers can be mounted in a rack, the VX Series is fit for day-to-day use on the road, as well as fixed installations in racks.

APART AUDIO | CHAMP-ONE www.apart-audio.com

Power amplifiers sometimes have tp operate in demanding circumstances, where the air is hot, full of dust, nicotine or grease. Champ- One’s convection cooled design eliminates the need for a ventilator, yet still results in a totally silent amplifier; there is no need for a regular cleanout procedure – thus, no risk of an overheating and failing amplifier as a result of a malfunctioning fan. Champ-One’s APC power management circuitry is one of the most intelligent amplifier protection circuits ever designed, simply because it does the job without interfering with the typical dynamic character of music. APC allows the user to maintain high power reserves and thus producing high, clean power. It constantly analyses incoming music signals and keeps dynamics alive. An additional ultra fast peak limiter avoids amplifier clipping. Champ-One is ideal for use in those environments where a mix of silent operation, reliability and superior musical qualities is paramount: cafés, pubs, music bars (up to dancefloor level) and all other venues where dynamic music playback is an essential part of the atmosphere.

CAMCO | V8 www.camcoaudio.com

Camco’s new V8 high-performance Class H amplifer delivers a scorching 8800W of power whether in two ohm or four ohm mode. The first of three planned additions to the celebrated Camco Vortex Series, the V8 also shows off a new design aesthetic and streamlined user interface. The most noticeable feature is the absence of any control knobs or switches, front or back. In this new format, the control of all parameters is via screen display and gain sliders. Such a clean and practical approach reduces wear and tear factors on moving parts, not to mention developing a more progressive approach to function and form. V8’s flexibility also extends to intelligent input routing; the signal path is direct from input to output bypassing any unnecessary A to D conversions. Because the network input is linked direct to the ampli- fier channel, you can choose to run the system full in the analogue or digital domain. Camco’s V8 is suitable to all market sectors where high power output is required, and in particular to concert sound applications. With Hybrid Class H output stage topology and advanced SMPS designs, the V8 offers Camco’s trademark levels of power and sonic integrity.

CLOUD | VTX RANGE www.cloud.co.uk

Built to Cloud’s exceptional standard and featuring studio quality VCAs, the new VTX range of four-channel power amplifiers have been designed specifically for the contractor installation market. The range features the WM1, an optional web monitor card allowing web access to remote 24/7 global surveillance of the amplifiers condition and status, including Load Monitoring, Input Level and Temperature Controls. As there are no DSP or Audio Distribution functions on the WM1, no further hardware or complicated Firewall issues exist; remote access is via VPN or Port Forwarding. Alarm warnings and status messages are sent via e-mail (or SMS) including a battery backed up ‘Black Box’ style message if the amplifier was to fail and shutdown. Three power variants are available, 4 x 120W, 4 x 240W and 4 x 440W each into four ohms, feature balanced line inputs with gain trim, hi-pass filter, bridge mode, optional Bose EQ cards (per-channel) and Cloud’s five year warranty. The range will be extended with three two-channel models in the first part of 2011.
