QSC | GX SERIES
www.qscaudio.com
QSC has introduced the GX7, the newest model in its popular GX Series of power amplifiers. Engineered and assembled in the company’s Costa Mesa, California facility, the GX7 maintains all of the key form and functional elements of the existing GX Series while delivering more power in a lighter weight package. Designed to deliver real-world power for the most popular portable applications, the GX7 features 725W per channel at eight ohms and 1000W per channel at four ohms, while weighing a mere 15.5lbs for the 120V version. At the core of the GX7 is QSC’s road-proven PowerLight power supply, resulting in one of the highest power-to-weight ratios in the industry. Cooling is aided with a low-noise, variable speed fan with rear-to-front airflow. Like the GX3 and GX5, the GX7 features XLR, 1/4-inch TRS and phono input con- nectors, Speakon and binding post outputs, built-in subwoofer / satellite crossover control, detented gain knobs, front-panel LED indicators and GuardRail amplifier and speaker protection.
TOA | DA-SERIES

The TOA DA-250F/FH, DA-250D/DH and DA-550F/500FH multi-channel power amplifiers offer a wider choice of power ratings, advanced Class D amplification circuitry, and a highly efficient AC mains to output power ratio, for the complete technological superiority it takes to support long-term installation applications. These energy-efficient, space-saving amplifiers are designed to combine high levels of perfor- mance and efficiency, and are well suited to ensure sound reinforcement reliability in a wide range of venue types. The TOA DA-Series is ideal for multi-zone applications such as presentation and press-conference rooms, restaurants and similar-sized locations. The DA-500FH is well suited to such locations as exhibition halls, sports facilities, multipurpose halls and stadiums. Other specifications include: high ef- ficiency - extremely high amplification efficiency of 80 - 90%, resulting in reduction in power consumption by more than 60% compared with Class-AB amplifiers; highly durable - stands up to extended hours of operation, the DA amplifier has undergone a large number of rigorous tests to prove its durability. In addition TOA has been conducting a ‘non-stop driving test’ of the DA Series; highly reliability - the DA amplifier has a comprehensive protection circuitry for protection against excessive current flow due to overload, short circuit, unusual DC voltage output, and power amplifier heat sink temperature rise (over 100°C), power supply temperature rise (over 80°); and a world-class lightweight design, which has made installation much easier.
WHARFDALE PRO | DW SERIES
www.wharfedalepro.com
The DW Series are the latest dual channel sound reinforcement power amplifiers from Wharfedale Pro. The range consists of three models: DW-800; DW-1600; and DW-2400. Each of the models is housed in a rugged yet portable 2U rackmount chassis and offers a different pow- er output. All of the range can operate in stereo or bridged mono modes to fit into the widest possible range of applications. The DW Series produce a clear and articulate sound with exceptional dynamics and transient reproduction. The controls on the front of the DW Series are simple yet effective with individual channel input trim controls and a power switch. Power, Signal, Clip and Fault LED’s on each channel can help identify both normal and abnormal activity. Generous sized filtered air intake vents complete the clear and functional front panel. The rear panel accommodates power via an IEC receptacle and has high quality audio connections including XLR inputs and through outputs for parallel wiring additional power amps, the main outputs use Speakon connectors for reliable and dependable connectivity.
YAMAHA | TN SERIES
www.yamahaproaudio.com
With over 35 years of development and experience behind them, Yamaha power amplifiers combine high quality and the company’s legendary reliability with the latest technology, ensuring that audio systems enjoy superior reproduction quality coupled with remarkably low power consumption. The Tn Series is designed to deliver optimum performance for touring systems. Comprising three models, all are compact 2U rackmount units and stably drive load impedances as low as two ohms, making them ideal for powering line array systems. Maximum output for each model is 2500W from the T5n, 2200W from the T4n and 1900W from the T3n, stereo into two ohms. Delivering extraordinary midrange and high end detail with commanding bass, exhaustive vibration-reduction measures produce unprecedented sound quality, while a durable exterior, large cooling fans, easily replaceable filters and comprehensive protection circuitry help to deliver total dependability even under the most demanding tour conditions. Meanwhile, power consumption has been reduced by 50% compared to conventional amplifiers, thanks to Yamaha’s high-efficiency EEEngine amplifier technology. Tn Series amplifiers also include advanced onboard networking. RJ45 connectors allow connection to a Yamaha ACU-16C Amp Control Unit for remote status monitoring and control of parameters such as on / off switching, muting and attenuation. Warnings can be displayed when preset parameter limits are exceeded while, with an NHB32-C Network Hub / Bridge, multiple units can be remotely control via CobraNet. A variety of input terminals, removable handles and other features for maximum installation and handling versatility are also provided, making the Tn Series the ideal amplifier solution for life on the road.
