APG | SPWX www.apg.tm.fr

In keeping with its commitment to offer the widest possible choice of solutions for audio professionals, APG has launched a brand new analogue processor dedicated exclusively to stage monitoring applications with their new DX Series multipurpose loudspeakers. The SPWX offers a simple, yet extremely high quality processing solution for the DX Series speakers in monitor applications. The SPWX12 / 15 is a compact 1U 4-channel processor which was deliberately developed as an analogue product in order to enable zero latency when necessary. It allows the management of four independent monitor channels from DX12 and DX15. Each channel is switchable between DX12 and DX15. A push-button offers a choice between two types of low frequency response and a potentiometer enables you to adjust the tonal balance. An amplifier rack with SPWX12 / 15 processing is therefore perfectly adapted for use with either DX12 or DX15 or indeed a combination of the two.

AVID | GSR SERIES www.avid.com

Avid has introduced the M-Audio GSR active sound reinforcement speaker series for musicians and DJs who perform in small to mid-sized venues. The GSR series includes 10-inch and 12-inch full-range PA cabinets that deliver exceptional, professional-quality sound and an 18-inch subwoofer that offers extended bass reproduction for larger venues. The GSR speakers are ergonomically designed and engineered with lightweight components for maximum portabil- ity. The GSR10 250W and GSR12 300W 2-way active PA speakers feature Neodymium magnets in the low-frequency drivers, substantially reducing overall weight to enable easy set-up and transport between venues. The GSR18 500W active subwoofer features four locking casters that make it easy for custom- ers to roll the sub into position. All three models are built with lightweight, ultra-efficient Class D amplifiers, which provide sustained high-output levels with minimum distortion and extremely low heat, so customers will experience clear, even sound through extended periods of use. Additional features include: four EQ presets designed for multiple applications, allowing customers to optimise the GSR10 and GSR12 to meet the needs of any sound setting; expansive, professional-quality sound, providing wide dispersion and excellent off-axis response for balanced sound throughout any venue; and flexible set-up options.

CLAY PAKY | SHOTLIGHT WASH www.claypaky.it

Shotlight Wash is a totally new kind of projector that combines an extraordinary 1500W discharge lamp washlight and a 3000W Xenon lamp strobe in just one device. The most striking thing about Shotlight is that the two wash-strobe functions are not separate but perfectly integrated and can be operator-controlled with either simultaneous or separate switching-on and special effects. The control electronics are also unique with their perfectly integrated design. Shotlight’s ‘wash’ works just like an Alpha Wash 1500 moving head, while the strobe function is a circular crown fitted inside the front lens of the washlight and made of two semi-circular Xenon lamps, each 1500W. These lamps work independently, i.e. they can be switched on separately or simultaneously and flash at different frequencies. Shotlight Wash offers an endless array of spectacular features including: it can function as a strobe with daylight colour temperature; the innovative semi-circular shape of the lamps and their asynchronous operation allow you to create extra-special stroboscopic effects, while the moving yoke effectively moves and directs the light emission; and when the strobe and wash sections operate simultaneously, Shotlight can be used as both a motorised and coloured blinder and animates uniformly coloured set designs with an incredibly sharp strobe effect at adjustable frequency.

D&B AUDIOTECHNIK | E6 www.dbaudio.com

d&b audiotechnik has introduced the new E6 loudspeaker - the keenly awaited replacement for the E3. Designed as either a stand-along full range system for speech and music applications, or for incorporation into larger distributed sound reinforcement situations, the E6 is a high performance two-way multipurpose loudspeaker that employs an integrated coaxial driver with a neodymium magnet assembly. The 1-inch exit HF compression driver and constant directiv- ity horn are accommodated within the circumference of the 6.5-inch LF driver. The horn, with its 100° × 55° dispersion pattern (h x v), can easily be rotated through 90° without the use of tools to provide a 55° × 100° dispersion pattern. It can be mounted on loudspeaker stands or flown from overhead bars, while the multifaceted shape of the enclosure allows use either in a vertical or horizontal orientation, as well as deployment as a stage monitor. With the addition of an E12X-SUB or any other E-Series subwoofer, the E6 can also reproduce high-level music programmes.
