Cammegh has big plans for its wheels and equipment in the jurisdiction of Nevada
The big news, the massive news - the extraordinary news from Cammegh is that the makers of the world’s finest roulettes wheels have applied for a Nevada licence. The craftsmen from Kent are currently going through the approval process to sell their wheels and wheel- related gaming equipment in Nevada. "We're not counting our chickens," stated Andrew Cammegh at the G2E exhibition, "but we're committed to the application process and hopeful of a positive outcome. We're confident in our products and perception in the marketplace. We're extremely serious about roulette and consider Vegas as one of the most exciting markets in the world. It would be wrong not to offer the best roulettes to this market."
The Nevada Gaming Control Board has already visited Cammegh's UK offices and manufacturing facility, to see for themselves the commitment and integrity of the company first-hand. In addition to ensuring that Nevada's casino are best served with Cammegh's precision-made and lovingly crafted wheels, there's also a strategic motive for the company making this move. "We have invested in the company, in the manufacturing and our presence in the marketplace," stated Mr. Cammegh. "Opening up a new market such as Nevada is an important message to potential and existing customers that we are fully committed to this business and to our product."
Nevada has also been served by a narrow channel of suppliers with licences to serve the roulette market. The barriers have always been high, while the game of roulette remains a niche product in the Vegas market. However, the difficulties in obtaining roulette wheels, with nothing of the standard of a Cammegh wheel in the marketplace thus far, is certainly a contributing factor. Vegas deserves the highest quality product for its customers and Cammegh is eager to oblige.
Speaking to the ebullient Cammegh brothers on their stand at G2E, it was clear that the interest in Double Shot, a product first launched at the ICE show in London in 2010, had proved a winning formula for operators around the globe. Providing an additional result from a single roulette spin offers up a huge range of betting and reward options, dramatically modifying the house edge and providing an added attraction at the table. Able to reward players with free

drinks, dinner, tickets to the theatre etc., operators can use Double Shot to add greater interest in the game without major reinvestment in the wheel.
"The versatility of Double Shot has caught the attention of our customers," explained Andrew Cammegh. "They can control the house edge, the promotional stimuli and tailor everything to their casino. The added bonus is that there's no need to change their investment, as no one wants to change their wheel.”
NEWWHEELSINVEGAS The Mercury 360 is the newest addition to Cammegh’s globally trusted Mercury Series of discrete in-rim sensor roulette wheels. Using the same tried and trusted materials, production and finishes as the Mercury 2 wheel, including the Garnite ball-track and custom veneer options, Cammegh have developed the Mercury 360 with 4 in-rim sensors for unrivalled instant and secure winning number recognition.
Key to the main features listed opposite, is the development of the Mercury 360 game engine, a security-focused platform constantly monitoring rotor status, wheel level and ball characteristics throughout game play. When combined with Cammegh’s Wheel Manager Application for Mercury 360, the game event log can be exported via the Ethernet port of the

DOUBLESHOT-EXPLAINED The second number is created based on the speed of the ball and rotor speed as a completely random event. The side bet, Double Shot, takes advantage of Cammegh's patented feature built into the Mercury wheel, whereby the random speeds of the ball and rotor are combined to create a second random number. This second number refers to one of seven Chinese symbols on the roulette layout, each with varying odds. as the wheel generates the second number, the Cammegh Billboard Display converts it into a result. Using Double Shot Cammegh could deliver a third number, with 40,000 to 1 odds.
