G2E: LAS VEGAS

“Gamingfloor Live offers a real-time measure of their

efficiency, utilising smart alerts, for

example, to email the pitboss should the dealer fall outside the parameters set

factor with players. Our order book for automated table products is 200 over capacity, driven by demand from Latin America and Pennsylvania.”

Newly launched at the Triple A event, 3 Dice Football is a game developed by a US stockbroker and TCSJohnHuxley that combines American football with craps, delivering a greater house advantage in a uniquely themed layout. Players roll the dice as in craps, but use the score to make offensive gains or defensive losses on 'pitch.' In comparison to craps, the game is remarkably straightforward and easy to understand and there're great opportunities to take the game down the automated product route.

Gaming Floor Live also received its fully operational premier in Vegas, with all the bells and whistles first displayed at the ICE show in London now in full effect. Fully finalised to include wheel and drop zone analysis, etc., operators can see all the peaks and troughs of dealer activity. “Operators are looking extremely closely

at their return on investment,” stated Mr. Hawkins. “Gamingfloor Live offers a real- time measure of their efficiency, utilising smart alerts, for example, to email the pitboss should the dealer fall outside the parameters set by the operator. It’s a very clever and cost efficient solution.”

Among the major product announcements, Supernova really stood out in a market still recovering from the recession. Enabling operators to retro-fit a Supernova progressive system to any existing table game, offering a mystery jackpot or progressive is a winning formula. “The ability to refresh an older game and give a new lease of life to an existing table is something easily within current budgets and has been a real hit with operators,” said Mr. Hawkins.

Super Money Wheel was another new product shown at AAA, though typically targeted at the US audience, TCSJohnHuxley has added an electric table version with an LCD screen to refresh and re-invigorate a game that is

featured in every N. American casino.

TCSJohnHuxley also showed its rebranded display products at AAA. Having streamlined the range from entry level to deluxe, EFX now comprises the brand family, while the Solo, Classic and Elite represents the tiering of the functions between single and double- sided displays that are compatible with all TCSJohnHuxley and competitor wheels. The screens have also now been synchronised to display both numbers from TCSJohnHuxley's innovative Double Action roulette wheel (the wheel within a wheel), as requested by operators.

Having seen all the amazing new technology, it was ironic that the one that really stood out was shown as a simple light-up panel on the side of a table at AAA. Electro-Luminescence or EL was a wafer-thin panel displaying a cityscape with each office block glowing from within. Simple and stylish, the uses are manifold, with TCSJohnHuxley taking this inexpensive water-proof low-energy technology not only into promotional areas, for product sponsorship etc., but is applying it to table layouts. Lighting the individual areas of the table, in the same way that its Lumina uses its LCD technology, TCSJohnHuxley will be able to drive out the costs while delivering the same experience. Expected to launch at the ICE show in London, Mr. Hawkins is already predicting it to be one of the key products for TCSJohnHuxley in London.
