BallyTechnologies pulled out all the stops at G2E in LasVegas exhibiting its most ‘complete’ range of gaming products ever
Among a multitude of gaming products on the Bally Technologies' stand at G2E, the stand-out products were undoubtedly the new line of video slots powered by the new ALPHA II gaming platform housed in Bally's Pro Series cabinets. Renowned for its mechanical reels slots, Bally has matched the strength of its stepper games with the latest video slot releases.
Hugely important for the European market, Bally's new VLT products are currently progressing with Italy's technical institute, SOGEI, with a view to the games being market-ready in February this year. Bally showed Italian language versions of its hit videoslot Fireball in VLT format, having ported across the same Class III game into the VLT format to raise the Italian player experience at the

street level to that of a full-blown casino. Vegas Hits is another Bally VLT title featuring a unique double reel feature and incorporating Bally's U-Spin technology, which lets players control the spin of the reels, a concept that has proved hugely popular with casino players and will be unique to Italian VLT players once it launches later this year.

Available with all of Bally's new slot machines, the iDeck mixes and matches its button layout, denominations, language and synchronised graphical features to whatever game is being played on the top screens. The addition of the iDeck means that the latest Bally videoslots now feature five video outlets, from the video top-box, the dual screen touchpanels, iView and now iDeck screen. Bally Pro Slant and Pro Upright cabinets represent cutting-edge platforms on which to mix and match a huge variety of games including the Hammerhead, with massive top-box and Cash Wizard, a feature rich dazzling graphical game that really shows the power of the Alpha II platform with its five interactive bonuses that interact with the iDeck. In all, Bally showed 135 new games at G2E, with 280 games on the labyrinthine stand.
According to Bally's Andres Chacon, 90 per cent of the Bally exhibition floor was driven by the Alpha II platform, a fact that became patently obvious when playing through the games on the stand. Vegas Hits Road Trip is a standout title, featuring interactive bonus events and double wheels. Betty Boop's Love Meter also utilising the iDeck to draw the player into its bonus events.
