MIDAS|PRO 9 www.midasconsoles.com

PRO9 tops the Midas PRO Series, featuring a massive 88 channel input count and 35 buses, with the dual stage boxes offering placement flexibility up to 200m apart and 500m from the FOH position. The PRO9 benefits from the full range of Midas I/O box options, including the newly launched DL251 fixed for- mat stage box and the highly acclaimed DL431 24 channel 5-way mic splitter offering three mic preamps per channel and dual digital network connections, both with full redundancy. The range also includes the new Klark Teknik DN9650 digital format converter offering connectivity to many different digital proto- cols, including MADI and Dante. The Midas PRO9 comes complete with the features that have been made popular by established Midas digital systems, the XL8 and the PRO6. This includes the successful VCA and POPulation groups, which allow users to navigate channels intuitively, without the hindrance of layers or pages of faders. It will of course feature the legendary and much-loved Midas sound characteristics, which have their roots in the classic Midas analogue boards. The PRO9 also benefits from the same comprehensive choice of effects and dynamics processing as the PRO6 and XL8, including the much-acclaimed XL8 compressor options. Expandable modular connectivity means the system can be upgraded to meet most applications.

PEAVEY | PR SERIES www.peavey-eu.com

Peavey has updated the PR Series powered loudspeakers with its new class D amplifier topology for even lighter weight on the new PR 15D and PR 12D models. The Peavey PR 15D and PR 12D are two-way powered loudspeaker systems engineered with a bi-amplified class D power section that drives a 12- inch woofer with a robust 150W continuous and a 1.4-inch titanium-diaphragm RXTM14 compression driver with another 50W continuous. This high-speed amp topology yields the highest audio resolution and efficiency available, and has helped the PR Series shed 20% more weight than previous models. The PR 15D and PR 12D are capable of up to 120dB peak SPL and feature Peavey’s exclusive DDT speaker protection, which virtually eliminates audible power amplifier clipping. A built-in, heavy-duty crossover increases reliability at high power levels. A woofer servo monitors the woofer for back-EMF that is not a result of the drive signal and compensates for the unwanted woofer response in the overall signal. The result is a well-controlled and precise sound with excellent low-end frequency handling. A constant loudness circuit accentuates bass and treble frequencies at low listening volume levels to provide additional clarity and uniform sound reproduction across the volume spectrum.

RENKUS HEINZ | IC LIVE SERIES www.renkus-heinz.com

Renkus-Heinz Iconyx family of digitally steered array loudspeaker systems continues to grow with the addition of two new models designed for live applica- tions. The ICL-LM-R is a low-midrange module designed to augment a full-range IC Live array, adding well controlled low-mid frequency directivity to a single or dual ICL-R equipped system. The ICL-LM-R’s seven 6.5-inch low frequency neodymium transducers significantly improve low-mid frequency pattern control and performance below 800Hz. Sporting a matching IC Live enclosure, a single ICL-LM-R module can blend seamlessly with single or dual ICL-R modules and one or two IC212S-R or IC215S-R subwoofers to create a powerful, full-range live sound solution that offers unprecedented control in even the most challenging spaces. Both portable (R models) and permanent installation (FR models) are available. Also new to the series is he IC212S-R subwoofer, a dual 12-inch subwoofer designed for applications that do not require the extended low frequency range of the IC215S-R subwoofer. Iconyx IC Live arrays use advanced digital beam steering technology to deliver impeccable sound, with slim enclosures that blend into any environment. IC Live beams can be steered up or down while the array remains vertical - and nearly invisible. Individual driver control maximizes the acoustical advantages of this design.

SAE | 9000 SERIES & 15 SERIES www.saeaudio.com

The new 9000 Series from SAE adopts the patent amplifier technology - class J, with beautiful sound and high efficiency. Combining with excellent traditional transformer power supply, it can generate effective output power as large as 5000W at 2 ohm. The 9000 Series could be described as the terminator of the traditional analog power amplifier. The 15 Series adopts the patent amplifier technology - Class I. Combining high performance full-bridge phase-shifting switch mode power supply technology, it can generate effective output power as large as 7400W at 2 ohm, in a height of 2U and weight of 13kg. The 15 Series is ideally suited to high-end mobile performance and fixed installation.

SHOWTACLE | FIESTA.NET PRO www.showtacle.com

The Fiesta.NET has become a very popular product amongst professional users. The only problem was the housing, as it was not so practical for touring. This problem has been solved with the new Fiesta.NET PRO. The device is a composition of three Fiesta.NET devices integrated into one standard 1U rack box. With the device you’ll be able to control up to three independent laser systems using 16-bit six colour ILDA outputs. You can also use three independent DMX 512 outputs to control other devices directly from Fiesta software. It also has an integrated Ethernet switch, which allows you to connect another Fiesta. NET PRO device (perfect for large laser show installations) or any other Ethernet devices without the need of additional cables or Ethernet switches. The benefits of Fiesta.NET PRO are: easy installation; smooth laser output; easy to use; powerful laser show software Fiesta; and the possibility to use it even wirelessly over WIFI.

STUDER | VISTA 9 www.studer.ch

Following the Vista 5, 6, 7 and 8, the Vista 9 takes the operator experience to a higher level, supplementing the Vistonics interface with radical ‘wide screen’ based TFT metering, FaderGlow and numerous other innovations. The channel meters are able to show mono - right through to 7.1 channel signals - in the upper section of the screen, while the lower portion can show bus assignment or for surround channels an image of the surround composite, providing a clear and easily understandable display of the surround signal. A unique HISTORY mode records events such as overloads in the audio path of each chan- nel, and highlights them in red on the channel waveform. Furthermore, all stereo inputs and stereo masters have a correlation meter bar above the bargraph display. The Control Bay meter section can be configured to show any choice of output busses and input channels and displays up to 40m at the time. Each touch-sensitive TFT screen shows 10 channel strips, with rotary encoders and switches mounted directly onto the screen, providing the operator with ‘where you look is where you control’ ergonomics. From surround input channels with an intuitive input balance section to stereo input channels with a 5.1 up-mixing panner to automatic down-mixer processes for outputs, the Vista 9 has the practical tools for today’s and tomorrow’s surround productions built-in.
