www.christiedigital.com

Christie is pleased to add two new LCD projectors to its extensive product line-up - the Christie LWU420 and the Christie LW555. The LWU420 targets professional users demanding WUXGA high resolution and the LW555 fills the need for an affordable WXGA high brightness widescreen projec- tor. The Christie LWU420 is a unique 4200 lumens projector with WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution, making it ideal for small to medium sized venues including video conference rooms, meeting rooms and training rooms. Answering the market need for an affordable and portable WUXGA projector in the 4000+ lumens category, the LWU420 delivers full HD capability, auto H/V digital keystone, vertical and horizontal lens shift, 10-bit image processing for superior grey scaling, 1000:1 contrast ratio and a 2x zoom lens. Christie also welcomes the LW555 to its widescreen format line-up. The 5500 lumens Christie LW555 projector features native WXGA resolution (1280 x 800), centre lens design with a fully motorised lens shift, inorganic LCD panels, top loading lamp for easy access, 10-bit image process- ing, and 3D Keystone technology.

COHERENT GENESIS TAIPAN LASER

www.coherent.com

The Genesis Taipan delivers up to 10W in the green (532 nm) and up to 2.5W in the red at 639 nm. The colours yellow (577 nm) and Cyan II (480 nm) are available up to 6W and 4W respectively. Furthermore two new wavelengths have been added at 488 nm (Cyan I, up to 5W) and 607 nm (Orange, 1.25W). Coherent’s OPSL (Optically Pumped Semiconductor Laser) technology enables an excellent beam quality delivering the same brightness that is offered by ion lasers. Thus the laser beam can easily combined or manipulated to project sharp and bright images - even at longer distances.

D&B AUDIOTECHNIK E6

www.dbaudio.com

The E6 is a high performance multipurpose loudspeaker employing an integrated 6.5-inch / 1-inch exit coaxial driver design with neodymium magnet and constant directivity horn loading. The innovative horn design with its 100° x 55° (h x v) dispersion pattern can easily be rotated through 90° providing a 55° x 100° pattern without the use of tools. The E6 is a two-way design with a built-in passive crossover network with a frequency response extending from 85Hz to above 18kHz. The E6 enclosure is injection moulded providing both excellent mechanical and acoustical properties and is coated with an impact resistant black paint finish. The cabinet shape allows use either in a vertical or horizontal orientation and the recessed and tilted connector panel allows deployment as a stage monitor as well. The front of the loudspeaker cabinet is protected by a rigid metal grill that is magnetically attached and can therefore be easily removed in order to modify the horn orientation. The cabinet incorporates a handle and four M8 threaded inserts to connect to different rigging accessories or a safety wire. As with all the other E-Series cabinets it is available with special colour or weather resistant options. It can be powered by either the D6 or D12 amplifiers and up to five cabinets may be driven by each channel of either ampli- fier. These provide configurations for all current d&b amplifiers and the latest version of R1 Remote control software.
