Recently renovated, The Manta is made up of the luxurious Manta Resort,
and the Manta Divers Village, designed with scuba divers in mind. Set on an
idyllic beach, this accommodation offers an intimate atmosphere together
with fantastic watersports, on East Africa’s finest island sanctuary.
The Manta has an open plan design that makes the most of the wonderful
views and the cooling sea breezes. There are a range of activities on offer,
including diving, fishing, kayaking, bird watching and nature trails.

DIVE CENTRE
Oxygene, the first PADI 5* centre on the island of Pemba, has bases in
the North and South. With around 15 dive sites accessible from each
base, ranging from gentle coral dives to exhilarating wall drifts, the centre
can cater for a range of experience levels and snorkellers alike. Morning
and afternoon boat dives are offered dependent on local conditions.
Night dives may be arranged locally.

The Boathouse offers the perfect get away for divers who want to access
the excellent diving on the south and east coast of Pemba. The effortless
pace of local fisherman passing in dhows offers a fascinating insight into
a life unchanged by the modern world.
The simple cabin rooms and relaxed deck, make this ‘stranded’ vessel feel like
a real adventure ship.
