OUR OPINION
Located in the middle of North Male atoll, Thulhagiri is a small palm tree
fringed island. A fine beach leads to a large sheltered lagoon. Thulhagiri
Island Resort blends into its surroundings beautifully, and offers a high
standard of food and accommodation.
Thulhagiri’s location allows access some of the best dive sites on both the
south-western and south-eastern sides of North Male atoll. This makes it an
excellent diving option year round. There are over 30 dive sites that are
regularly visited by the islands' dive boats.

DIVE CENTRE
Sub Aqua dive centre is a PADI 5* and SSI resort offering unlimited diving
on the house reef. Dive boats go out twice daily and cater for all
experience levels. Occasionally the boats operate full day trips to access
dive sites beyond the range of a single tank dive. Thulagiri's location
allows easy access to 30 dive sites year round. Nitrox (32%) is
available FREE of charge.

Ellaidhoo’s defining feature is its dramatic house reef, which encircles the
island. The island’s position on the edge of the outer atoll regularly
rewards divers with sightings of large pelagic species on the house reef.
Redesigned over the summer of 2007, Ellaidhoo re-opened in January 2008.
The new owners recognise the island as one of the Maldives premier dive resorts
and are committed to enhancing the experience for divers. The combination of
a sympathetic renovation, high standard of accommodation and brilliant diving
truly makes Ellaidhoo one of the Maldives most sought after diving islands.

Dive & Sail is a well-run, fully equipped PADI resort, which was
refurbished and relocated on the island in 2007. As well as unlimited
access to the house reef for experienced divers, boats go out at least
twice a day and are able to access 40 sites. The sheltered beach offers
excellent learn to dive options. Nitrox (32%) fills are FREE of charge.
