The only resort in North Nilandhe Atoll, Filitheyo has a reputation for fine diving
and accommodation, and an ambiance that has few equals in the Maldives. An
excellent beach and house reef surround two sides of this large, triangular island.
Filitheyo is an ideal choice for guests looking to experience a particularly high
standard of food and facilities in a beautiful and unspoilt location. In addition to

DIVE CENTRE
This large Werner Lau dive centre offers PADI, CMAS and SSI courses,
with a high level of service. The excellent house reef has seven entry
points with a tank shuttle service operated. The northern edge of the reef
drops to more than 90m in the blue. Nitrox (32%) is available FREE of
charge and a range of dive courses and package are available.

Medhufushi Island Resort from £1499 BB
OUR OPINION
Medhufushi lies east of Meemu-Atoll, 300 km south of Male. There are
only two tourist islands in the whole of this atoll. Medhufushi features an
exceptionally beautiful lagoon, ideal for learning to dive.
The virtually untouched diving sites, most of them suitable even for beginners,
offer a stunning diversity of corals and tropical fish. This elongated island is
surrounded by dazzling white beaches and great care has been taken to
develop it with as little disturbance as possible to the environment.

DIVE CENTRE
This superb Werner Lau PADI, CMAS & SSI dive centre, run by
experienced dive guides, offers a range of dive courses and dive packs.
With a shallow, sandy lagoon down to 12 metres in front of the centre,
this island also offers ideal conditions for learner divers. There are also
plenty of challenges for the more experienced divers who, access a
number of sites by speedboat on the exterior atoll.
