SHOULD I LEARN TO DIVE?
Diving is everything you imagine it to be and
more…from the moment you take your first
breaths underwater, you begin a whole new
adventure. Experience weightlessness and total
freedom. Dive with exotic marine creatures. Be

colourful corals and discover a museum of
ancient history…
HOW FIT DO I NEED TO BE?
Diving is an exciting sport but you don’t have to
be super fit to take part. People of all ages can
dive as long as they have a reasonable level of
fitness. You need to be able to swim 200m
unaided and be confident in the water. Before
deciding to take the plunge, please consult the
relevant medical checklist. Please see page 94 or
contact Regaldive for advice.
WHERE CAN I LEARN?
The Red Sea is the ideal place to learn to dive as
it offers crystal clear warm waters, superb
weather conditions, fantastic marine life, award
winning dive schools and great value! Regaldive
also offer a range of courses in other destinations
around the world including the Maldives, the
Caribbean and Indonesia.
WHO WILL TEACH ME?
All the dive centres and schools Regaldive
recommend are PADI or BSAC accredited and
operate to the same professional standards, with
English speaking instructors. PADI (Professional
Association of Diving Instructors) is an
internationally recognised organisation that leads
the way in scuba training worldwide. BSAC
(British Sub Aqua Club) is the Governing body for
underwater activities in the UK providing training
and safety advice.
WHICH COURSE IS BEST FOR ME?
Regaldive offers a choice of PADI learn to dive
courses. All the courses offered by Regaldive are
integrated, so every bit counts towards your next
qualification. This means you can learn at your
own pace and fit it in with your timescale and
budget. You can even start by reading the
manuals before you go on holiday! BSAC courses
