Discover the richest seas in the world
The Indonesian archipelago boasts more than
80,000km of coastline from South-east Asia to
Papua New Guinea. The best way to take in the
breadth and diversity of these expansive waters,
in some of the most remote and least
discovered areas of the world, is by liveaboard.
The variety of islands, combined with the current,
waves and wind exposure, has resulted in an
incredible diversity of marine habitats. Underwater,
strong currents and deep upwellings transport
nutrient rich waters, supporting pristine coral reefs,
mangrove and sea grass beds with a dazzling
variety of macro life. Larger marine mammals also
pass through these vast waters, and encounters
with manta rays, turtles and sharks are frequent.
Dive sites are reached by a fleet of exceptional quality
liveaboards, which operate year round. Regaldive
offers the choice of the Peter Hughes’ Dancer fleet
including the Komodo Dancer and Paradise Dancer,
as well as the Cheng Ho liveaboard.
