OUR OPINION
This small, well-located resort is situated directly on the beach and has
a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The size and laid back pace of the island
creates a feeling of tranquillity and calm.
The rooms are comfortable and are furnished in a colonial style. The restaurant
and bar provide a good area to relax. With the dive centre located next door,
Hippocampus is the ideal location for divers looking to get away from it all.

Dive centre adjacent to the resort • 3 hour drive from Cebu to Maya, followed
by a short boat ride to Malapascua.
DIVE CENTRE
The recently renovated Sea Explorers facility is situated on the beach and
is a PADI 5 star Gold Palm Dive Centre. There is full equipment rental
available, fully furnished classrooms and nitrox available. Banca boats
provide daily day boat diving to a wide variety of dive sites. Night dives and
the early morning dive to see the thresher sharks are offered daily.

stunning island of Dimakya. Surrounded by lush tropical forest and with

proximity to Apo Reef and Coron also makes this a perfect choice for divers.

DIVE CENTRE
Dugong Dive centre is situated within Club Paradise and is a fully equipped
PADI dive centre, providing a full range of courses up to PADI Divemaster.
There are several boats for divers, smaller ones for nearby dive sites and
larger liveaboard style bancas for the more remote dive sites, which
include Apo Reef and the wrecks of Coron. Nitrox is available.
