Thank you for joining us at the TTG Travel Awards
2009 and I hope you have had a fantastic
evening! Once again, we have recognised the very
best companies and individuals in our industry,
with some retaining their titles and others
reclaiming them or winning for the very first time.
In the coming pages, find out why each winner
received their accolade, and also learn a little
more about why the TTG Travel Awards are the
most transparent and sought-after in the industry.
Having overseen the judging process and
chaired a number of panels, I can personally
vouch for the credentials of every one of our
finalists and winners. In a year that has been
tough, to say the least, winning a TTG Travel
Award – or even making a shortlist – should be seen as a major achievement.
And with pressure on marketing budgets, the value of this stamp of approval
becomes even greater.
This year’s awards attracted twice as many registrations as last year’s, as well
as a record number of agent ratings, making it clear that the TTG Travel Awards
remain coveted and valued by you, our readers.
So congratulations to all those who entered, made the shortlists and received
the ultimate accolade on stage tonight. It’s been a challenging year, but here’s to
an incredibly resilient, innovative and dynamic industry.
