Fremont, CA — Exar Corporation (NYSE: EXAR) has introduced the XR79120, a 20A single output, syn- chronous step-down power module in a compact, 12 x 14 x 4mm footprint. Although small, the XR79120 still offers greater than 93 percent peak efficiency and leverages the company’s ad - vanced patented constant on- time (COT) control architec- ture across a 4.5-to-22V input voltage range. The power module pro-

vides an easy-to-use, fully integrated power converter integrating MOSFETs, in - duc tors, and internal input and output capacitors. QFN- based package technology provides superior thermal perform- ance, eases electrical debugging and improves manufacturability with higher assembly yield and the ability to visually inspect solder joints. At 50°C with no airflow, no thermal de-

ratings are required for output volt- ages of 1.8V and below. The XR79120 will be available

in a RoHS-compliant, green/halogen free, space-saving 74-pin 12 x 14 x

All Flex Achieves AS/ISO Re-certification

Northfield, MN — All Flex, manufac- turer of flexible printed circuits and heaters, has been re-certified to AS9100C and ISO 9001:2008. AS9100 is an international aerospace stan- dard for quality assurance require- ments of aerospace companies. ISO 9001:2008 is a quality man-

agement system required for the mil- itary, defense, and aerospace mar- kets where flexible circuitry is heavi- ly used. These standards are impor- tant in industries where high relia- bility is imperative. This re-certifica- tion marks the 14-year anniversary that All Flex has maintained these critical certifications. Upon successful completion of

the comprehensive audit in the areas of sales planning, manufacturing,

and purchasing, Registrar TUV Rheinland of North America, Inc. granted the re-certification. All Flex has been manufactur-

ing flexible circuits for nearly a quar- ter of a century producing prototypes as well as high volume production. The company also provides compre- hensive surface mount and thru-hole component assembly services. Seven years ago the company added poly- imide and silicone rubber heater cir- cuits to its product line and offers custom, as well as stock, heater

designs. Contact: All Flex, 1705 Cannon
