MULTI-LAYER CONCEPT
Think layering Juniors
JP is planning his Saturday roll up, two sessions for juniors, which is great fun, and a great introduction to the game for the young ones. Andy is also
running courses on Saturday and Sunday, to keep the juniors sharp until the Rookies start again. I have also arranged with our junior organiser Andrew Keites, a six session winter programme for the elite juniors of the club, which is a great way to make sure they use winter time efficiently to get ready for the new season.
During half term, we run courses for the juniors including playing on the academy course at St Clements golf club. This is a good introduction for the little ones starting to play real golf, but on a reasonable length course.
Organising our season means that we interact with each other as a team and we also have to communicate with the junior section at RJGC, the course rangers, the club secretary, the ladies section, Trevor Gray and Tim Pallot at Longueville and Steve Davison at St Clements golf club. This ensures the venues are booked for us, and therefore it can all run smoothly. It is a very important part of our activity, as without this communication between us we could not plan such a variety of coaching options.
All this preparation is made very easy because I think we are a great team of friends and professionals who are keen to give all or students the best
possible experience.
2015 is also the year of new ideas, such as offering lessons to the parents of the children we teach, corporate events, yearly coaching programmes, tour players day, and many more fun opportunities. So please follow us on
